UNPRI Achieves Top Rankings in Two Prestigious 2025 SPMI Categories by LLDIKTI Region I North Sumatra

2025 Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) Reporting Award from LLDIKTI Region I

Medan — Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) has once again recorded a strategic achievement in strengthening higher education governance and quality culture by winning top ranks in two prestigious categories at the 2025 Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) Reporting Awards for Private Higher Education Institutions (PTS) within the LLDIKTI Region I North Sumatra.

In the 2025 SPMI Reporting Awards, there were five assessment categories: Determination, Implementation, Evaluation, Control, and Improvement. In this event, UNPRI managed to achieve 2nd place in the Implementation category and 1st place in the Improvement category, reflecting UNPRI's consistency in implementing and enhancing its Internal Quality Assurance System in a structured, measurable, and sustainable manner.

In addition to institutional achievements, UNPRI also received the "Unggul" (Superior) Study Program Awards for five programs:

Bachelor of Indonesian Language and Literature Education Bachelor of Agrotechnology Bachelor of Informatics Engineering Doctor of Law Master of Law

These awards serve as indicators of the quality of education at UNPRI, aligned with National Higher Education Standards. The awards were received by UNPRI's Vice Rector III, Refi Ikhtiari, S.Si., M.Sc., Ph.D, during the ceremony organized by LLDIKTI Region I North Sumatra.

UNPRI Rector, Prof. Dr. Chrismis Novalinda Ginting, M.Kes., stated that this achievement is part of UNPRI's long-term strategy to strengthen quality culture and institutional competitiveness. "This award is the result of the collective work of the entire academic community. SPMI is the main foundation in ensuring the quality of governance, academic processes, and higher education outcomes," said Prof. Chrismis.

Furthermore, the Rector emphasized that strengthening SPMI plays a strategic role in supporting UNPRI's global presence. "Continuous quality improvement is aimed at supporting UNPRI's involvement in international rankings and the achievement of international accreditation targets. This is part of our commitment to enhancing our global reputation," she added.

The 2025 SPMI Reporting Awards were officially opened by the Head of LLDIKTI Region I, Prof. Drs. Saiful Anwar Matondang, M.A., Ph.D. This achievement serves as a strategic milestone for UNPRI in supporting SDGs 4, SDGs 17 and accelerating steps towards international recognition.
