STUDY VISIT TO BANK INDONESIA

Study Visit of Faculty of Economics Unpri Students at KPW. BI Region IX (North Sumatra & Aceh)

Medan, 08 to 09 April 2013, students of the Faculty of Economics (FE) Universitas Prima Indonesia (Unpri) conducted an excursion visit to the BI Regional Office IX (North Sumatra & Aceh). The event was officially opened by Demina R. Sitepu as a Senior Economic Researcher. The number of participants who attended this event was 200 people (students majoring in Accounting and Management).

FE Unpri students were very enthusiastic about participating in the event. The material obtained was about Central Banking and Socialization of the Characteristics of Authentic Rupiah Money. A visit to Cash and Clearing was also conducted and led directly by Mr. Samsir Alam as the Public Relations Section of KPW. BI Region IX (North Sumatra & Aceh). The advantage of this visit, participants not only get material in the lecture hall, but can see directly the clearing and cash process at BI.

The event was closed with a question and answer session, distribution of snacks, lunch and souvenirs from Bank Indonesia to participants and also the provision of souvenirs from FE Unpri to Bank Indonesia.
