Head of UNPRI's SPKKLP Study Program Plays Active Role in National Family Doctor Competency Exam

Jakarta, November 6, 2025 — The Head of the Specialist Education Program in Primary Care Family Medicine (SPKKLP) at Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI), Dr. dr. Ali Napiah Nasution, M.K.T., M.K.M., Sp.K.K.L.P.(K), participated in the Expert Panel Meeting for Competency Exam Question Trials and Technical Meeting (Juknis) for Competency Exam and Question Review, organized by the College of Primary Care Family Medicine (KKLP) from November 4–6, 2025, at Hotel GranDhika Iskandarsyah, Jakarta.

This activity was attended by experts and family medicine specialists from various institutions across Indonesia, with the aim of strengthening the quality of the Primary Care Family Medicine Specialist Competency Exam in terms of question substance, assessment methodology, and alignment with national standards for medical education.

Ensuring Integrity and Relevance of the Competency Exam

For three days, participants were actively involved in discussing the technical guidelines for implementing the competency exam, as well as conducting a review and validation of the questions to ensure that every assessment instrument truly reflects the professional competence of a primary care family physician.

As a representative of Universitas Prima Indonesia, the presence of Dr. dr. Ali Napiah Nasution, M.K.T., M.K.M., Sp.K.K.L.P.(K) affirmed UNPRI's commitment to supporting the development of quality education and competency evaluation for family medicine at the national level. He also played an active role in providing constructive input during the question review process, based on extensive academic and clinical experience in primary care.

“This expert panel meeting serves as a strategic platform for maintaining the integrity and relevance of the family doctor competency exam in Indonesia. Through collaboration between universities and the college, we ensure that graduates possess the comprehensive ability to provide quality primary healthcare services to the community,” stated Dr. Ali Napiah.

The event concluded with a reaffirmation of the importance of sustainable collaboration between the KKLP College and all institutions organizing family medicine education in Indonesia, in order to build a competency exam system that is transparent, standardized, and adaptive to developments in healthcare services.
