UNPRI Clinical Pharmacy Students Win First Place in the 2025 Indonesian Pharmacy Olympiad XII
Students of the Clinical Pharmacy Study Program at Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) won First Place in the 2025 XII Indonesian Pharmacy Olympiad, a testament to the academic excellence and national competence of UNPRI students.
Two students from the Clinical Pharmacy Study Program, Faculty of Health Sciences, Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI), advanced to the final round of the 12th Indonesian Pharmacy Olympiad (OFI) 2025 in Padang — Josita Jenny Haryanti Hutagalung (Community Pharmacy category) and Felicia Dame Stephanus (Clinical Pharmacy category). Josita Jenny Haryanti Hutagalung ultimately won First Place.
This was conveyed by the supervising lecturer, apt. Roy Indrianto Bangar S., S.Farm., M.S.Farm., through a WhatsApp message on Sunday (November 9, 2025). Meanwhile, Josita Jenny Haryanti Hutagalung stated via WhatsApp that she won together with her team in the Pharmaceutical Management Collaboration category, outperforming 10 other groups. Her team consisted of students from Universitas Andalas and Stifar Padang (three members per team).
“I am very proud of the outstanding achievement of our Clinical Pharmacy students at UNPRI, who won First Place in the 12th Indonesian Pharmacy Olympiad. This accomplishment is a testament to their hard work, dedication, and strong learning spirit, as well as the result of excellent guidance from our lecturers and support from the entire UNPRI community. This success not only brings personal pride but also serves as an inspiration for all Clinical Pharmacy students to continue excelling and bringing honor to our alma mater,” said the Rector of UNPRI.
Rector Prof. Dr. Chrismis Novalinda Ginting, M.Kes., explained earlier that UNPRI sent five students to the 2025 OFI competition: Gita Saraswati (Clinical Pharmacy), Shintjia Dewi Agustan (Pharmaceutical Sciences), Josita Jenny Haryanti Hutagalung (Community Pharmacy), Felicia Dame Stephanus (Clinical Pharmacy), and Vicky Xavier (Pharmaceutical Sciences).
They were officially sent off on Friday, November 7, 2025, by UNPRI Rector Prof. Dr. Chrismis Novalinda Ginting, M.Kes., to participate in the OFI XII 2025 event. The Rector was accompanied by the Dean and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Dr. Santy Deasy Siregar, SKM., M.Kes., and apt. Razoki, S.Si., M.Kes., M.Biomed., M.H.
The Indonesian Pharmacy Olympiad (OFI) XII 2025 is a national competition organized by the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) as a platform to develop and explore the potential of pharmacy students throughout Indonesia.
The event took place from November 7–10, 2025, at Universitas Andalas, Padang, West Sumatra, and was attended by 29 universities offering pharmacy programs, including Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI).
