Unpri Family Holds Charity Fun Walk IV
The Extended Family of Universitas Prima Indonesia (Unpri) held a Charity Fun Walk. The event was a success. The Head of the Committee, Munawaroh said that the 2013 Charity Fun Walk was the fourth event held by Unpri. The goal was solely for charity, because part of the proceeds from ticket sales were given to children in orphanages.
"In addition, this activity also aims to fill the new year with positive and useful activities," said Munawaroh at Campus II, Jalan Sekip Simpang Sei Kambing Medan.
On the same occasion, Munawaroh said that 1,500 people participated in the activity. The event was attended by the Advisor, dr. I Nyoman Ehrich Lister, M.Kes, AIFM, Head of BPH Yayasan Tommy Leonard, SH, Mkn, Vice Rector II Ermi Girsang, SKM, MKes. and the general public.
Munawaroh said, similar events will be routinely held every year. In the future, the activities are expected to be better than before.
In addition to the fun walk, Munawaroh said the event was also enlivened with various activities such as entertainment in the form of dancing, singing, lucky draws, and others. To further enliven the event, food stalls were also opened. Not only that, the committee also held a blood donation activity in collaboration with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI).
"For the fun walk, the route starts from Jalan Sekip, Palladium, Merdeka walk, Putri Hijau, Adam Malik, and returns to Jalan Sekip Medan," he said.
In this case, he was happy, the activity received great enthusiasm both from the campus itself, and from the local community. "All students from all faculties at Unpri participated," he added.
By taking a leisurely walk, said Munawaroh again, it can foster interest in exercising and create togetherness. That is why Unpri continues to strive to increase similar activities for the future.
After the leisurely walk, the Supervisor, accompanied by the Head of BPH Unpri, Vice Rector II, lecturers, staff, and employees in Unpri ranks took a break while watching various entertainment.
