UNPRI Holds Socialization of Implementation of Business Process Map and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for Education and Teaching Services and New Student Admissions

UNPRI's Strategic Steps Towards Quality Education Services

Medan, September 11, 2023 — In order to improve the quality of academic service governance and new student admissions, Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) held a Socialization of the Implementation of Business Process Maps and Standard Operating Procedures (POS) for Education and Teaching Services and New Student Admissions, which took place on Monday, September 11, 2023.

This event was held in the Rectorate Hall of Universitas Prima Indonesia and was attended by the university's leadership, including Vice Chancellors, Heads of Bureaus and Related Institutions, Deans, and Heads of Study Programs from all faculties within UNPRI. The presence of these key stakeholders demonstrates a shared commitment to realizing a structured, efficient, and quality service system across all lines of higher education services.

The socialization event was officially opened by the Rector of Universitas Prima Indonesia, Prof. Dr. Chrismis Novalinda Ginting, M.Kes., who in her speech emphasized that the implementation of the Business Process Map and POS is not only part of fulfilling accreditation standards, but also the main foundation in building modern and professional higher education governance.

"With the integrated Business Process Map and POS, we can ensure that every service process runs according to a clear, documented, and evaluable flow. This not only increases the effectiveness of education and teaching services, but also strengthens the new student admission system to be more transparent and accountable," said the Chancellor in her speech.

This activity presents a presentation of material by the Information System Center Team and the Internal Quality Assurance System Team of Universitas Prima Indonesia which explains in depth the structure and workflow in two main aspects, namely:

1. Business Process Map and POS of Education and Teaching Services, which covers the entire academic cycle from curriculum planning, learning process, evaluation of learning outcomes, to supporting academic services.
2. Business Process Map and POS New Student Admissions Service, which includes the stages of planning, promotion, selection, to new student registration systematically and in accordance with public service standards.

Participants also received a technical overview of the implementation in each work unit, as well as monitoring and evaluation strategies for POS implementation to align with the goal of continuous quality improvement. The interactive discussion session also provided space for participants to convey input and challenges faced in the implementation of the service process, so that it is hoped that steps for improvement can be formulated collaboratively.

By holding this socialization activity, Universitas Prima Indonesia is committed to continuing to align all aspects of service governance with the principles of transparency, efficiency, and quality orientation. The implementation of the business process map and POS as a whole is expected to be able to support UNPRI's vision as a superior higher education institution that is competitive at the national and international levels.
