Participated in by 73 countries in China, UNPRI students won second place in the 2024 International Medicine Manufacturing Competition

UNPRI Bachelor of Clinical Pharmacy Outstanding Students

Medan, Three Bachelor of Clinical Pharmacy students from Prima Indonesia University (UNPRI) who are currently taking part in a Student Exchange to Shandong Drug and Food Vocational College China, recently did not hesitate to take part in the 2024 International Vocational School Skills World Championship Competition, and succeeded in getting Second place (silver medal) in the field of medicine manufacturing.

The 2024 International World Vocational School Skills Competition was attended by 1,279 participants from 73 countries and regions on six continents, namely Asia, Europe, North America, South America, Africa and Oceania, divided into 413 teams. Then on November 20 2024, lecturers and campus leaders will take them to Tianjin, to show their performance as second place winners.

The three 3rd semester students are Rizqa Mardhiah Averoes, Donna Sipayung and Angel Yoselin Tampubolon. For approximately 2 months, they were taught Mandarin and also the practice of making traditional Chinese medicine.

Following up on the cooperation agreement between Prima Indonesia University (UNPRI) and Shandong Drug and Food Vocational College, Wednesday (9/10/2024), UNPRI Chancellor Prof. Dr. Chrismis Novalinda Ginting, M.Kes, represented by Vice Chancellor 3 Dr. Said Rizal, SHI., MA has announced the departure of Bachelor of Clinical Pharmacy students following Student Exchange to Shandong Drug and Food Vocational College, China which departs on October 10 2024.

"We will continue to carry out this student exchange program considering that the need for human resources in this field is still very necessary to support the government's program to realize National Pharmaceutical Independence," concluded apt.
