UNPRI Chancellor: Next Achievement: International Accreditation

UNPRI GRADUATION PERIOD V IN 2024

Medan, Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) graduated 2,200 graduates in Period V of 2024, for Diploma, Bachelor, Master and Doctoral Programs, which was held on Thursday (17/10/2024) and Friday (18/10/2024) at the Main Hall of the UNPRI Medan Campus, Jln. Cover No. 3 Medan.

UNPRI Chancellor Prof. Dr. Chrismis Novalinda Ginting, M.Kes, said that UNPRI is committed to improving quality, such as improving the accreditation of universities that have obtained UNGGUL Accreditation. But it doesn't stop there, UNPRI is next targeting the achievement of International Accreditation.

"We are targeting the achievement of UNGGUL Accreditation in 2026, it turns out that it can be obtained in June 2024. This is all thanks to the support of all parties. Thank you for the support of various parties, so that currently 8 Study Programs at UNPRI have obtained UNGGUL Accreditation," he explained.

However, according to him, UNPRI does not stop at just achieving UNGGUL Accreditation, because the next achievement targeted is International Accreditation. "That is why UNPRI continues to improve partnerships with international campuses and industries, so that currently a number of our students are taking internships abroad," he said.

The UNPRI Chancellor reminded graduates to continue to balance responsibility with increasing their position and social status in society. "With the degree you obtain, there is an increasing responsibility to bring impact and meaning to society in accordance with UNPRI's vision, namely to Become a Superior University in the Field of Innovative and Adaptive Socio-Techno Preneurship. Come on, with your superior intelligence, contribute to the Indonesian Nation towards a Golden Indonesia,” he said.

Prof. Dr. Chrismis Novalinda Ginting, M.Kes hopes that UNPRI graduates will continue to develop the provisions obtained from UNPRI, because the real test is in the midst of society.

Head of LLDIKTI Region I, Prof. Drs. Saiful Anwar Matondang MA PhD, said that quality higher education is a national asset. To achieve an advanced Indonesia, superior human resources are needed, who are able to win global competition.

Graduates are asked to apply their knowledge in their respective professions, maintaining the name of their alma mater. "Achieve a higher degree and be able to become an agent of change, be honest and devoted to your parents. Congratulations to your parents/guardians, happy birthday to the whole family," he concluded.

A number of graduate representatives conveyed their impressions and messages, and also presented songs that were able to entertain all those present. Even after the graduation ceremony, the graduates happily participated in making a celebratory video recording for the Tiktok application by dancing together.
