Building Educational Bridges Between Countries
MoU from Universitas Prima Indonesia with UNIMAP Perlis and UNIMAS Kuching Malaysia
On November 24, 2023, Universitas Prima Indonesia strengthened its international network and global partnerships by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with UNIMAP Perlis and UNIMAS Kuching Malaysia. This collaboration signifies determination and commitment to a common goal.
The signing was conducted at SPACE, Faculty of Education, Languages, and Communication, UNIMAS, witnessed by the Indonesian delegation and the UNIMAS team. The UNIMAS team included Professor Ir. Dr Siti Noor Linda Taib, Vice Chancellor (Research & Innovation), Professor Ir. Ts. Dr Al-Khalid bin Othman, Vice Chancellor (Student & Alumni Affairs), Professor Dr Ambigapathy Pandian, Dean of the Faculty of Education, Languages, and Communication (host), and Professor Ar. Ts. Dr Julaihi bin Wahid, Dean of the Faculty of Built Environment (co-host). This inter-faculty collaboration aims to improve academic standards and encourage innovation in education, languages, engineering, and the built environment.
UNPRI representatives included Vice Chancellor 3, Dr. Said Rizal, SHI, MA, Vice Chancellor 4, Dr. dr. Ali Napiah Nasution, M.K.T., M.K.M., Sp.K.K.L.P.(K), and Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology Prof. Ir. Bhakti Alamsyah, M.T., Ph.D.
Through this collaboration, various innovative instructional practices, human capital development, and knowledge exchange will be the main keys in improving the quality of education in both institutions. The joint efforts of UNIMAS and UNPRI in presenting innovations in the fields of education, language, engineering, and the built environment aim not only to improve academic standards, but also to empower communities in both Malaysia and Indonesia.
With a shared vision to create a global impact, UNPRI, UNIMAS and UNIMAP are ready to establish cross-country collaborations that will bring long-term benefits to the development of research and development in various fields. With this collaboration, the three universities are determined to create an academic environment that supports the growth of future researchers, bridging geographical divisions to achieve shared achievements in the development of science and technological advancement.
