The North Sumatra Provincial Language Center (BBPSU) accompanied the North Sumatra Language Ambassador in implementing the Language Krida Program; a Polite Language Awareness Campaign on Social Media held on Thursday, July 20, 2023, which took place at Universitas Prima Indonesia, Medan. This activity was attended by 100 participants from the Medan, Binjai, and Deliserdang areas. The activity was officially opened by the Vice Chancellor III of Universitas Prima Indonesia, Said Rizal, M.A. In his remarks, Said Rizal hope, with this activity can strengthen positive values in the participants and become a means for participants to learn to prioritize wisdom and uphold politeness in interacting on social media.
After the series of material delivery was completed, the activity was continued with a campaign through the creation of content "Polite, Wise in Using Media" by participants who were divided into several groups. The content is then uploaded to the Instagram account of the group representative. This content is expected to reach more young people in order to invite them to become wise young people, speak well, and use social media as a means to produce works. positive work.
