Closing of MBKM National Defense
The briefing and implementation of the Independent Learning Independent Campus (MBKM) for national defense was carried out at the main campus building of Universitas Prima Indonesia on Wednesday, November 2, 2022.
The second day of the Independent Learning Independent Campus (MBKM) National Defense lectures ended with a closing at the UNPRI Central Campus, Jalan Sampul 4.
The activity, which was attended by around 500 students from Universitas Prima Indonesia, the Muhammadiyah University of North Sumatra (UMSU) and the Panca Budi Development University, took place with high enthusiasm from the students through physical activities and classical classes.
Part of the MBKM Bela Negara Provision and Implementation program for students is expected to create cadres of national defense who have a high nationalist and patriotic spirit.
In the past for the younger generation, defending the country emphasized the spirit of defending the country to free it from colonialism. Meanwhile, the meaning of defending the country for millennials is, fighters who prioritize the spirit of defending the country to fill independence. Defending the country is not interpreted as just taking up arms to defend the sovereignty of the nation but through the creativity and innovation of the younger generation to prepare competent and characterful human resources.
The closing ceremony was attended by the Chancellor of UNPRI Prof. Dr. Chrismis Novalinda Ginting Mkes and WR 1 Abdi Dharma M.Kom, Brigadier General TNI Ketut Gede Wetan Pastia who was represented, Head of L2DIKTI Region I Prof. Dr. Ibnu Hajar MS who was represented and Head of LDDikti 3 Dr. Ir. Paristiyanti Nurwardani MP who attended the event online
