UNPRI Ranks First in Largest Grant Quota

Indonesian Student Micro Credential Program (KMMI) 2021

The implementation of the Indonesian Student Micro Credential (KMMI) in North Sumatra at the Main Campus Building of Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) according to the direction of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology through the Directorate General of Higher Education continues to encourage universities to innovate, even though learning is still carried out online as an impact of the global Covid-19 pandemic.

The proof is, UNPRI received the largest grant as the organizer of KMMI 2021 in North Sumatra Province and succeeded in obtaining the largest number of courses and participant quotas from all universities in North Sumatra that received KMMI 2021 grants. UNPRI Chancellor Prof. Dr. Chrismis Novalinda Ginting, M.Kes is very proud of this achievement. "This success is a manifestation of the university in supporting the Independent Learning Campus Merdeka Program and hopes that this will continue. UNPRI continues to excel in other fields because UNPRI is the best choice," he explained.

The Chancellor added, by continuing to carry out the Multi-Ethnic Campus, several course fields that were successfully submitted by UNPRI are BIPA Digital Learning Media, Legal Corporate, Hemodialysis Care, Corporate Financial Accounting Check Up, Infant Massage Skills, Molecular Epidemiology Surveillance of Diabetes Mellitus and A Data Science Fundameta with a total quota of participants from UNPRI who can take part in the 2021 KMMI grant is 1,120 students. Meanwhile, in a separate place, the Head of BPH UNPRI Dr. Tommy Leonard SH MKn expressed his appreciation for the extraordinary achievements that have been made by UNPRI during the Covid-19 pandemic which has not ended until now and must always be vigilant so that we all avoid the dangerous and deadly virus and always implement healthy lifestyle changes according to the recommendations of strict health protocols.

"UNPRI must innovate in all fields under any conditions. Because the progress and continuity of higher education will be greatly determined by the many creations and innovations of a higher education institution. UNPRI has proven itself as the only recipient of the most KMMI 2021 grants in North Sumatra. Achievements are difficult to achieve but should also be able to be maintained or improved again at another time," he told reporters, Sunday (4/7).

Tommy hopes that in the future, UNPRI can continue to play a role in developing a learning role model in its higher education in line with the demands of this campus to become a world-class university and be able to compete with other universities in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 and the rapid progress of higher education that expects UNPRI graduates to be accepted in the world of work and industry because they have been equipped with entrepreneurial skills and abilities.
