GUBSU: Hope UNPRI Becomes the Pride of North Sumatra
Tengku Erry Nuradi hopes that Universitas Prima Indonesia (Unpri), which has been involved in educating the community for 14 years, can continue to develop and become the pride of the people of North Sumatra.
Acting Governor of North Sumatra (Gubsu) H Tengku Erry Nuradi hopes that Universitas Prima Indonesia (Unpri) which has been working to educate the community for 14 years can continue to develop and become the pride of the people of North Sumatra. "Unpri is one of the best universities. "I hope Unpri will be the pride of the people of North Sumatra," said Erry Nuradi at the Unpri Fiesta 2015 event at the Hermes Polonia Hotel, Jalan Mongonsidi, Medan, Sunday (11/10).
Unpri Fiesta 2015 is a series of celebrations for Unpri's 14th Dies Natalis and welcoming new students in 2015. Present at the event were North Sumatra DPRD member Brilian Moktar, Chairman of the Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association (Hipmi) Medan Afif Abdillah, Unpri founder Dr. I Nyoman Ehrich Lister MKes AIFM, Chairman of BPH Unpri Dr. Tommy Leonard SH MKn, Unpri Chancellor Prof. Djakobus Tarigan, Vice Chancellor I Seno Aji SPd MEngPrac, Advisor to the Pangeran Antasari Education Foundation Dr. Heriyanti SH MKn, Unpri Advisor Prof. Sanwani Nasution SH, RE Nainggolan, and others.
Erry said that Unpri is one of the best universities because study program (prodi) accreditation is on average B. "We hope that in the future all study programs at Unpri, as the name suggests, are truly excellent and can get A accreditation. I am sure that with professional human resources and lecturers and supporting infrastructure, Unpri will continue to develop and become a source of pride not only for the foundation management and students but also for the people of North Sumatra," he said.
Previously, Vice Rector I of Unpri Seno Aji said that the main target of the 5th Unpri Fiesta was to build student independence, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit. "Unpri Fiesta 2015 carries the theme 'Semangat University', namely Unpri's strong spirit to make this university superior in implementing technology, creative thinking, and campus power that supports a learning atmosphere through the development of learning methods that lead to academic education that is entrepreneurial," he said.
Unpri Fiesta 2015 showcases various creative works by Unpri students such as dance and music. There is also the election of Mr. and Miss Unpri 2015, giving awards to influential young people in the fields of education and non-education in developing creative entrepreneurship in North Sumatra.
