FH UNPRI PERMANENT LECTURER OBTAINS DOCTORAL DEGREE

FH Unpri Dean: Unpri Continues to Encourage Lecturers to Improve Their Educational Qualifications

Again, a permanent lecturer at the Faculty of Law (FH) of Universitas Prima Indonesia (Unpri) has earned a Doctorate. Dr. Dahlan Sinaga, S.H., M.H., adds to the list of doctoral lecturers at Unpri.

This permanent lecturer at FH Unpri said that in earning his doctorate, he successfully defended his dissertation on the Implementation of Independence and Freedom of Judges to Decide Criminal Cases in a Pancasila Legal State.

He said that what he has achieved so far cannot be separated from the extraordinary support from his family, especially his wife and children and the leadership of Unpri.

In a separate place, the Dean of FH Unpri Dr. Tommy Leonard, S.H., M.Kn., appreciated the FH Unpri lecturer who completed his studies at the S3 level.

"With the many lecturers studying for their doctorate, we hope that FH Unpri will continue to develop and maintain its accreditation," said Tommy Leonard.

Tommy said that currently there are still five permanent lecturers at FH Unpri who are completing their doctorate at the University of North Sumatra (USU) and Jayabaya University in Jakarta. "We hope that they will complete their studies and will devote their knowledge to the Faculty of Law Unpri," said Tommy Leonard, who is also the Head of BPH Unpri.

Tommy said that Unpri already has many lecturers with doctoral degrees, including Dr. Feri Tanjung, S.H., M.Kn., a permanent lecturer at FH Unpri who graduated from USU, Dr. Mulyadi, S.H., M.H., Dr. Tommy Leonard, S.H., M.Kn., Dr. Azharuddin, S.H., M.Kn., Dr. Heriyanti, S.H., M.Kn., Dr. Willy Tanjaya, S.H., M.Kn., Dr. Dahlan Sinaga, S.H., M.Kn.

On the same occasion, Tommy also hopes that the permanent lecturers of FH Unpri who have achieved S3 studies can provide useful knowledge to the academic community and to the wider community.

In recent years, his party has also continued to strive to encourage all teaching staff at Unpri to continue to improve their educational qualifications.

It is hoped that by the end of 2015, the number of Unpri teaching staff with S-2 and S-3 education levels will reach above 90 percent of the total number of lecturers currently available.
