FH Unpri Students Visit Class IIA Medan Women's Prison

A total of 60 students from the Faculty of Law (FH) Universitas Prima Indonesia led by Deputy Dean I of FH UNPRI Theresia Simatupang, S.H., M.Hum., along with lecturers Rahmayanti, S.H., M.H., and Satria Braja Hariandja, S.H., M.H., visited the Class II A Women's Penitentiary (Lapas) Medan, on May 5-6, 2015.

The visit was received with a warm welcome by the Head of the Binadik Section Marlia R.S AMd., IP., S.H., and Asmah Simatupang S. Ag., M.H., as Head of the Guidance and Nursing Section.

"This visit is one form of realization of cooperation (MoU) between FH UNPRI and the North Sumatra Provincial Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights in the field of developing legal education, and continuing clinical legal lecture activities at the Medan District Court (PN)," said Deputy Dean I of FH UNPRI Theresia Simatupang, S.H., M.Hum., to reporters, Saturday (9/5) in Medan.

During the visit, said Simatupang, FH Unpri students interviewed several inmates, to find out the criminal acts committed by the inmates and the elements of the criminal acts committed by the inmates.
