GRADUATION OF 20 BACHELOR OF DENTISTRY

Faculty of Dentistry Unpri The Only Private Faculty of Dentistry in North Sumatra

Faculty of Dentistry (FKG) Universitas Prima Indonesia (Unpri) as the only private Faculty of Dentistry in North Sumatra is determined to produce reliable dental graduates, and are ready to devote their knowledge in the midst of society.

Moreover, FKG Unpri, which has been accredited by BAN-PT in 2011, is supported not only by complete campus facilities, but also by the Royal Prima Hospital Dental and Oral Installation itself, as a place of practice and Clinical Clerkship, and is supervised by several professors, and lecturers with S3, S2, and Specialist qualifications, who are competent and have special expertise in their respective fields.

Even FKG Unpri graduates have been equipped with knowledge, skills and good attitudes, as well as spiritual intelligence, intellectual intelligence, social intelligence, and emotional intelligence. So, after completing their education, Unpri graduates can immediately integrate themselves with their environment, devote themselves to society and be able to compete healthily and sportingly.

On Thursday, April 24, 2014, FKG Unpri inaugurated 20 Dentistry Bachelors who are ready to devote themselves to society, at the Dentistry Bachelor Graduation Class III, in the Hall of Royal Prima Hospital, Jalan Ayahanda, Medan.

The event was attended by the Head of Unpri Advisors, dr. I Nyoman Ehrich Lister, M.Kes., AIFM, Head of BPH Unpri, Dr. Tommy Leonard, S.H., M.Kn., Rector of Unpri, Prof. dr. Djakobus Tarigan, AAI, DAAK, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Prof. Dr. drg. Monang Panjaitan, M.S., M.A., Vice Rector II, Ermi Girsang, SKM, M.Kes., lecturers of FKG Unpri, parents of students, and other invitees.

Dean of FKG Unpri, Prof. Dr. drg. Monang Panjaitan, M.S., M.A., in his speech said that the 20 Bachelor of Dentistry graduates have the right to hold the title of Bachelor of Dentistry (SKG) after being inaugurated and taking the oath of young dentists. In the future, they will follow the clinical clerkship for approximately 3 semesters to achieve the title of Dentist Profession.

"FKG Unpri is the only private faculty of dentistry in North Sumatra, where students come from various regions, such as Aceh, Riau, Padang, Jambi, and especially North Sumatra which has a Clinical Clerkship at the Royal Prima Hospital Dental and Oral Installation", said Prof. Monang Panjaitan.

The Royal Prima Hospital Dental and Oral Installation will be used by FKG Unpri students to practice and do Clinical Clerkship. The Dental and Oral Installation located on Jl. Pabrik Tenun No.103 Medan, has facilities including a capacity of 50 Dental Units, Dental Emergency Facilities, Hospitalization Room, Pharmacy or Drugstore, Dental Specialist Polyclinic, Seminar Room, Student Room, Cafeteria, Library, Laboratory, Operating Room, and Sterilization Room.

"FKG Unpri is the only private FKG in North Sumatra that can accommodate students who are interested in studying at the Faculty of Dentistry", explained Prof. Monang Panjaitan.

On that occasion, Prof. Monang Panjaitan expressed his deepest gratitude to the Unpri Foundation which has facilitated all the needs, completeness of the teaching and learning process at the Faculty of Dentistry so that students can complete their studies on time.
