UNPRI Receives Decree (SK) for the Opening of Master of Computer Science Program from the Head of LLDIKTI Region I

Medan, April 13, 2026 — Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) Medan recorded a historic moment in its development. On Monday, April 13, 2026, UNPRI leadership officially received the Decree for the opening of the Master of Computer Science Study Program from the Head of LLDIKTI Region I, Prof. Drs. Saiful Anwar Matondang, M.A., Ph.D. This handover marks the official start of a new chapter in postgraduate technology education at UNPRI. As the best private university (PTS terbaik), UNPRI continues to innovate in delivering relevant academic programs.

The UNPRI delegation consisted of Vice Rector I, Dr. Abdi Dharma, Vice Rector II, Prof. Dr. Ermi Girsang, and the Dean of FAST, Prof. Ir. Bhakti Alamsyah. Their presence reflects the importance of this achievement in facilitating student talent through advanced education to produce competent and high-quality graduates.

During the event, Prof. Saiful Anwar Matondang expressed his support: "The opening of the Master of Computer Science Program at UNPRI is a very appropriate and strategic step. We at LLDIKTI Region I fully support this and hope it produces graduates who contribute significantly to technological progress." Dean Prof. Bhakti Alamsyah emphasized: "We designed this program to produce technology scientists who are not only technically proficient but also able to lead innovation in the AI era."
