UNPRI Holds Capping Day for Future Nurses and Midwives

The Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery (FKK) at Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) held its Capping Day and Pledge Ceremony for Bachelor of Nursing and Midwifery students of the 2025/2026 Academic Year on Wednesday (11/2/2026) at UNPRI Hall. This solemn procession serves as the gateway for future healthcare professionals before entering their clinical practice phase.
The event was attended by UNPRI's Rectorate, Dean of FKK Dr. Tiarnida Nababan, and professional organizations such as PPNI (Indonesian National Nurses Association) and IBI (Indonesian Midwives Association). The presence of partner hospital representatives and parents marked the students' vital transition from theoretical studies to professional clinical practice in public health services.
"Today's capping is not merely a symbol; it is a promise to the profession, to the patients, and to yourselves. The healthcare world requires personnel who are not only clinically proficient but also possess strong character and firm ethics. In hospitals, you will deal directly with patients in need; therefore, make every moment a learning opportunity and always uphold the professional code of ethics you have vowed today," asserted Dr. Tiarnida Nababan in her inspirational address.
