UNPRI Professor Designs Housing for LLDIKTI Region 1 Lecturers, Bintang Pesona 9 Officially Launched

A Tangible Form of Intellectual Contribution by an UNPRI Professor in Designing Comfortable and Strategic Residential Areas for Academic Colleagues.

Medan – Bintang Pesona 9, an exclusive housing complex dedicated to lecturers within the LLDIKTI Region 1 North Sumatra environment, officially held its Soft Launching on Wednesday (11/2/2026). This project, offering 135 housing units, is a collaboration between the LLDIKTI Region 1 KB Cooperative and PT. Bintang Mitra Sejahtera through Bintang Land Property.

The spotlight of this project is the involvement of Prof. Ir. Bhakti Alamsyah, M.T., Ph.D., Professor and Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology at Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI), as the lead architect. Prof. Bhakti designed a contemporary Scandinavian-style concept emphasizing maximum natural lighting with an elegant and modern aesthetic. This design reflects the sensitivity of an academic who not only masters theory but is also capable of translating it into a functional and aesthetic real-world masterpiece.

The soft launching ceremony was attended by Prof. Drs. Saiful Anwar Matondang, M.A., Ph.D., Head of LLDIKTI Region 1, and Prof. Ir. Bhakti Alamsyah, M.T., Ph.D., as the Chairman of the LLDIKTI Region 1 KB Cooperative. Also present was H. Muhammad Zamri Riduan, S.E., M.M., President Director of PT. Bintang Mitra Sejahtera.

"We are fully committed to providing high-quality and comfortable housing for educators in North Sumatra through the Bintang Pesona 9 project," stated H. Muhammad Zamri Riduan in his remarks.

"We welcome this housing development as a concrete form of attention toward the welfare and quality of life of educators within the LLDIKTI environment," added Prof. Saiful Anwar Matondang.

Bintang Pesona 9 features a Scandinavian residential concept characterized by open spaces, abundant natural light, and clean, functional materials. With 135 units available, the complex is located on Jalan Ileng, Rengas Pulau, Medan Marelan—a rapidly growing strategic area in Medan. The residence is designed as a comfortable, lush environment with high investment value for LLDIKTI Region 1 lecturers.

Prof. Bhakti Alamsyah's involvement proves that the contribution of UNPRI academics extends beyond the classroom.
