OVERVIEW

The Bachelor of Agrotechnology at the Faculty of Agro Technology is a study program designed to produce graduates who are experts in modern agriculture and agricultural technology. This program combines basic agricultural sciences with the application of the latest technologies to enhance productivity and sustainability in the agricultural sector.

Students will study various aspects of agrotechnology, including crop cultivation, natural resource management, pest and disease control, and the use of precision agricultural technology. Additionally, they are equipped with practical skills in research and the development of agricultural innovations. Graduates of this program are ready to contribute to advancing the agricultural sector as researchers, practitioners, or entrepreneurs in agrotechnology.

1. Organizing education in the field of innovative palm oil agrotechnology andintegrated with socio-technopreneurship so that graduates are able to overcome global plantation challenges with sustainable technology solutions
2. Encouraging research and development of palm oil plantation technology that focuseson innovation in improving efficiency, productivity, and sustainability
3. Conducting community service programs and technology development throughknowledge transfer and collaborative initiatives that support sustainable agriculture

PURPOSES

Producing Agrotechnology graduates through a series of learning experiences, completing an educational curriculum, so that they have sufficient knowledge, skills, attitudes and behaviors to:

Be able to understand the basics of theory, Agrotechnology, Agrotechnology concepts and Agrotechnology and have basic research and problem-solving skills for the development of Agrotechnology in the field of oil palm plantations.

Be able to conduct research, analyze and handle technical and managerial jobs and positions in the field of Agrotechnology in plantation companies.

Be able to act professionally in providing the best service to the community in their environment.

Domestic and international cooperation.
