UNPRI Information Systems Program Collaborates with BBPSDMP Kominfo Medan to Strengthen Innovation and Digital Human Resources 2026

Strategic Collaboration for a Digital Future: UNPRI and BBPSDMP Kominfo Medan Unite to Develop an Innovative, Competent, and Globally Competitive Generation

UNPRI, Medan – The Information Systems Study Program, Faculty of Science and Technology at Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) is establishing strategic communication with the Medan Communication and Informatics Human Resources Development and Research Center (BBPSDMP Kominfo).

This meeting is a collaboration for the development of Digital Literacy, technology research, and the enhancement of human resource competence in the field of digitalization for 2026.

The activity was attended by the Head of the Information Systems Study Program, Agung Prabowo, S.Kom, M.Kom UNPRI, along with representatives from BBPSDMP Kominfo Medan at the Sky Lounge of Universitas Prima Indonesia. The discussion was lively, covering plans for synergy between the academic world and the government in facing the challenges of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era and national digital transformation.

The Head of the UNPRI Information Systems Study Program stated that the collaboration with BBPSDMP Kominfo Medan is part of UNPRI's commitment to expand cooperation with government institutions in strengthening the digital competencies of students and lecturers.

“We welcome this initiative as a concrete step to prepare graduates capable of meeting the needs of the digital industry. Through cooperation with BBPSDMP Kominfo Medan, students can directly learn the best practices for digital human resource development in Indonesia,” said the Head of the UNPRI Information Systems Study Program.

The BBPSDMP Kominfo Medan, as the technical implementation unit of the Ministry of Communication and Informatics of the Republic of Indonesia in the North Sumatra region, stated that it is open to educational and training collaborations with higher education institutions.

“We appreciate UNPRI's spirit of collaboration. The world of education is an important partner in building adaptive and competitive digital human resource capacity. We are ready to collaborate on various training, research, and digital literacy programs in 2026,” stated the BBPSDMP Kominfo Medan representative.
