UNPRI Master of Public Health Program Holds Community Service at Mandala Public Health Center

The Master of Public Health Program, Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry, and Health Sciences, Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI), held a Community Service Program (PKM) with the theme “Recognize and Prevent Non-Communicable Diseases Early,” at the Mandala Public Health Center, on Saturday, August 9, 2025.

This PKM activity, a collaboration between lecturers and students of the Master of Public Health Program at the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry, and Health Sciences, UNPRI, included counseling on the prevention of non-communicable diseases delivered by Dr. Soraya Mourina Hutasuhut, M.Ked (PD), Sp.PD, followed by free health checks for the community in the Mandala Public Health Center area.

The PKM event was attended by several structural officials and lecturers of the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry, and Health Sciences, UNPRI, including Prof. Dr. Ermi Girsang, M.Kes (Head of Program), Dr. dr. Sri Lestari Ramadhani Nasution, M.K.M., M.Biomed (Program Secretary), Dr. Santy Deasy Siregar, M.Kes (Vice Dean 2), Dr. dr. Sri Wahyuni Nasution, MKT., MKM., Sp.KKLP, Dr. Hartono, M.Kes, Dr. Putranto, M.Ph, and Masryna Siagian, M.Si.

As a token of appreciation for the successful implementation of the PKM, Program Secretary Dr. dr. Sri Lestari Ramadhani Nasution, M.K.M., M.Biomed, presented a plaque to Dr. Lina Sari Lubis, M.Kes, Head of the Mandala Public Health Center, who had facilitated the venue for the Community Service Program.

The Community Service Program was warmly welcomed by residents around the Mandala Public Health Center. Many women filled the designated area at the health center. Attendees asked numerous questions about non-communicable diseases and expressed hope that similar counseling activities would be held in the future, covering various other health topics.
