UNPRI Holds Guest Lecture with Islamic University of Indonesia

About Data Science-Based Pharmaceutical and Health Development

Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) held a guest lecture with Universitas Islam Indonesia on the topic "Development of Pharmacy & Health Based on Data Science", held at the UNPRI Main Hall, Tuesday (2/7/2024).

The guest lecture presented Prof. Dr. apt. Yandi Syukri, M.Si., apt. Saepudin, M.Sc., Ph.D and Dr. apt. Asih Triastuti, M.Pharm, attended by all students of the Clinical Pharmacy Study Program, the Vice Deans of the Faculties of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences, Universitas Prima Indonesia, lecturers in the Faculties of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences, Universitas Prima Indonesia, and the deans in Universitas Prima Indonesia. Prof. Dr. apt. Yandi Syukri, M.Si delivered material on the importance of data, especially large-scale data (Big Data) which aims to obtain useful information and assist in decision making, in various fields in the real world, where there are six characteristics of big data, namely: value, volume, velocity, variety, veracity, variability.

Prof. Dr. apt. Yandi Syukri, M.Si gave a message that mastery of data science is the key to health management and policy making in the health sector, and pharmacists as health workers should improve their competence in the field of big data/data science. The material is very important for students of the Clinical Pharmacy Study Program, to further deepen their knowledge of pharmacy and health based on data science. The material presented by the speakers was very interesting, as evidenced by the enthusiasm of the Clinical Pharmacy Study Program students in participating in the guest lecture activity. After the presentation of the guest lecture material, it was continued with promotional material from the Department of Pharmacy, Islamic University of Indonesia for the Masters Program, Islamic University of Indonesia, which was delivered by Dr. apt. Asih Triastuti, M.Pharm.

Then continued with the presentation of souvenirs from the Department of Pharmacy, Islamic University of Indonesia, represented by Prof. Dr. apt. Yandi Syukri, M.Si to the Clinical Pharmacy of the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences, Prima Indonesia University. Clinical Pharmacy of the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences, Universitas Prima Indonesia also gave souvenirs to the Pharmacy of the Islamic University of Indonesia represented by Dr. dr. Linda Chiuman, M.K.M.

During the guest lecture, a signing of cooperation was also carried out between the Department of Pharmacy, Universitas Islam Indonesia represented by Prof. Dr. apt. Yandi Syukri, M.Si, with the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences, Universitas Prima Indonesia represented by Dr. dr. Linda Chiuman, M.K.M.
