Prof. (H.C.UNPRI) Dr.dr.Rr Brian Sri Pahastuti MPH Invites UNPRI Academic Community to Participate in Preventing Stunting
Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences, Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI), held a Public Lecture with Prof. (HC.UNPRI). Dr.dr.Rr Brian Sri Pahastuti MPH, Saturday (6/7/2024) In the Main Hall of the UNPRI Main Campus.
In the Public Lecture with the topic "Zero Stunting Indonesia Emas 2045: Reflection of the Policy for Accelerating Stunting Reduction in Indonesia 2013 - 2023", Prof. (H.C.UNPRI) Dr.dr.Rr Brian Sri Pahastuti MPH invited the entire UNPRI Academic Community to be involved in preventing stunting. Prof. (H.C UNPRI) Dr. dr. Rr Brian Sri Pahastuti, MPH in the public lecture explained the policy for reducing stunting, analysis of the stunting situation in Indonesia and towards zero new stunting.
"Stunting prevention must be resolved together, as evidenced by Indonesia's joining the SUN (Scalling Up Nutrition) movement since 2011, which has a national strategy to accelerate the prevention of stunting in children by maintaining nutritional intake and health status through involvement between government and non-government institutions. Presidential Regulation No. 72/2021 on August 5, 2021 containing the BKKBN as the coordinator for accelerating stunting prevention by forming a Stunting Acceleration Team," he said.
At the end of the presentation of the public lecture material, the resource person Prof. (H.C UNPRI) Dr. dr. Rr Brian Sri Pahastuti, MPH concluded the importance of preventing stunting. "Providing breast milk (is important). Filling plates with nutritious food (is important), and maintaining cleanliness or being free of worms (is important)", he concluded. The public lecture was attended by all students of the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences, Universitas Prima Indonesia, deans and their staff, lecturers and deans in UNPRI, and students from non-health faculties.
The public lecture was very interesting, as evidenced by the enthusiasm of the students of the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences UNPRI who attended more than the specified number. It was even attended by students outside the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences, Universitas Prima Indonesia.
