Most in League 2: UNPRI Wins 4 PKKM Grants

Independent Campus Competition Program

Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) has successfully won the Independent Campus Competition Program (PKKM) grant by passing 4 proposals. PKKM is held by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) of the Republic of Indonesia in order to support the implementation of the Independent Campus policy, which aims to encourage transformation in the field of higher education.

UNPRI's success in passing these 4 grant proposals is the most in League 2, PKKM classification for universities with active students between 5,001 and 18 thousand people and at least very good accreditation. This is reinforced by the issuance of letter number: 0296 / E.E3 / KU.07.00 / 2023, by the Ministry of Education and Culture. Director General of Higher Education Prof. Ir. Nizam, M.Sc., DIC, Ph.D., IPU, Asean Eng. stated that the universities receiving the assistance had submitted proposals and met the specified requirements.

The 3 UNPRI study programs that won the grant proposal were the Law Study Program, the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program, the Information Systems Study Program and the Institutional Support System (ISS)-MBKM. UNPRI's success has gone through various processes, namely the Proposal Selection and Eligibility of the 2023 PKKM Proposal from 7 to 24 February 2023 and the Eligibility Verification on 12-13 March 2023 in Bogor which was attended directly by WR 1 UNPRI, Abdi Dharma, S.Kom., M.Kom along with representatives of the UNPRI PKKM taskforce.

The Independent Campus Competition Program (PKKM) Grant aims to develop the Independent Campus at the Study Program level and programs at the institutional level which are specifically aimed at strengthening MBKM governance and facilitating campuses to implement the Independent Campus. The grant fund from PKKM encourages the improvement of UNPRI's quality as a university, as well as the development of study programs in implementing the MBKM curriculum.
