PANGKOSTRAD PRESIDENT GIVES PUBLIC LECTURE ON NATIONALITY AND NATIONAL DEFENSE

Pangkostrad Motivates UNPRI Students to Never Give Up

Commander of the Army Reserve Strategic Command (Pangkostrad) Lt. Gen. TNI Edy Rahmayadi, motivated thousands of students from Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI), Universitas Sutomo, STIE A&BI, Global Prima students and Pangeran Antasari Private students, to never give up.

This was conveyed by Pangkostrad at a Public Lecture on Nationality & National Defense held by UNPRI and Universitas Sutomo Medan, Saturday (28/11) at the Universitas Sutomo Campus Hall, 7th Floor, Jalan Sutomo, Medan.

The public lecture was attended by, Dandim 0201/Bediri Sendiri Lt. Col. Inf. Maulana Ridwan, Head of BPH UNPRI Dr. Tommy Leonard, S.H., M.Kn., Rector of UNPRI Prof. dr. Djakobus Tarigan, AAI., DAAK, Rector of Sutomo University H. Ramli J Marpaung, S.H., Head of STIE A&BI Hendry, S.E., M.M., Vice Rector I UNPRI Seno Aji, S.Pd., M.Eng. Prac, Coordinator of Global Prima Dr. Willy Tanjaya, S.H., S.Kom., M.Kn, Director of the Legal Aid Institute (LBH) HIPAKAD Yusriando, S.H., M.H., youth figure Arjoni Munir.

Pangkostrad, expressed his pleasure and happiness to be invited by UNPRI, to give a public lecture on Nationality & National Defense. Pangkostrad also invited students to fight to build North Sumatra. The motivation given was accompanied by the screening of a short film.

In between the screenings, Pangkostrad explained that, national values ​​are essentially values ​​that are agreed upon and considered good, which are inherent in every Indonesian citizen, in the form of norms and ethics of goodness, which are contained and become characteristics of the nation's personality which originate from the four basic consensuses of the nation, namely the values ​​of Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution, the unitary state and Bhineka Tunggal Ika.

The man born in Sabang also showed a portrait of the nation, while inviting students to sing the song Ibu Pertiwi together. "The concept of nationality must continue to be fostered in society, the nation and developed in a structured manner, namely successively at the level of awareness," said the man born in 1961 convincingly.

On the same occasion, Pangkostrad also discussed the quality of Human Resources (HR) and the progress of the nation. The progress of the nation in the future is determined by the abundance of Natural Resources (SDA). Talking about National Insight, said Pangkostrad is the same as talking about our Archipelago Insight which is a national insight ...

"This Indonesian national insight is the crystallization of the noble values ​​of shared life, which were built and mapped in its time, in the concepts that underlie the life of the Indonesian nation," he said.

In addition to the Public Lecture, Pangkostrad also witnessed the signing of the Legal Cooperation of LBH HIPAKAD with UNPRI, STIE A&BI and Sutomo University. Previously, Pangkostrad was given a laurel and received souvenirs.
