Unpri Christmas Celebration Takes Place Solemnly

Universitas Prima Indonesia, one of the Multi-Ethnic campuses, held a Christmas celebration at HKBP Sudirman on Saturday, December 6, 2014. This time the theme chosen by the committee was Harmony of Christmas "because you have purified yourselves by obedience to the truth, so that you may practice sincere brotherly love, love one another earnestly with all your heart (Peter 1:22)."

This theme was deliberately chosen by the Unpri Family Christmas Committee in 2014, with this theme it is hoped that Christian students can feel the glory of Christmas itself.

Also attending this event, the Chairperson of the Universitas Prima Indonesia Advisory Board, Dr. I Nyoman Ehrich Lister, M.Kes., AIFM., Chairperson of BPH Unpri Dr. Tommy Leonard, S.H., M.Kn who is also an advisor to the committee, Unpri Advisor dr.Sofian Wijaya, M.H.A., Unpri Chancellor Prof. dr. Djakobus Tarigan, AAI., DAAK., Vice Chancellor I Seno Aji, S.Pd., MEng., Prac., Vice Dean of FE Unpri Hendry, S.E., M.M., Christmas supervisor Drs. Petrus Purwanto, M.Pd., and lecturers and staff in Unpri.

Head of BPH Unpri Dr. Tommy Leonard, S.H., M.Kn., in his speech said that this event is a routine event held by the campus, to strengthen family ties between students, lecturers and other academic staff.

In addition, through this event, the excitement and happiness of Christmas can be felt in the hearts of academic staff, lecturers and students who are Christian.

The pastor who gave the sermon at this Christmas celebration was Rev. Dr. Haryanto, M.Th who was very enthusiastic and very happy with the enthusiasm of the participants who attended this Christmas event.

The pastor said that this theme was chosen to be truly suitable and touching for the participants, and it is hoped that the glory of Christmas this year can provide blessings to all participants who attend this event.

In addition to the Christmas Service, Rudy Salam Sinulingga as the chairman of the Christmas organizing committee also said that there were many entertainment events presented by Unpri students, such as singing, choir, drama and others.
