OVERVIEW

The Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry, and Health Sciences (FKKGIK) at Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) is a leading higher education institution in North Sumatra that nurtures future health professionals through a curriculum based on Outcome-Based Education (OBE) and a Socio-Technopreneurship approach.

With the support of lecturers holding Professor and Doctoral degrees from among practitioners and health experts, we offer Master's and Doctoral programs that focus on professional competence, mastery of science and technology, and ethical, dignified health services. Our flagship programs include:

• Doctor of Medical Science

Practical sessions are held at UNPRI’s primary teaching hospitals: RSU Royal Prima Medan, RSU Royal Prima Marelan, RS Mata Prima Vision, and RSGM Prima. Learning infrastructure includes the Digital Anatomy Table, FTIR, HPLC, OSCE, and CBT, aligned with national standards to support research and high-tech healthcare services.

To become a nationally leading faculty in developing socio-technopreneurship in health sciences, producing healthcare professionals and health science and technology through the management of the tridharma, emphasizing the values of professionalism.

MISSION

1. To manage the delivery of high-quality health sciences education to produce excellent healthcare professionals who uphold ethics and noble values.
2. To manage the implementation of quality research as an effort to acquire innovative science and technology (IPTEK) to support learning and the competencies of healthcare professionals for national advancement and the welfare of humanity.
3. To manage community service activities based on reasoning and research works that are utilized to improve the quality of life and enlighten the nation.
4. To manage services based on good governance through the optimization of internal resources and collaboration with both domestic and international institutions.

PURPOSES

1. The creation of a conducive and high-quality learning environment to produce professional healthcare workers who are adaptive, highly competitive, and have a sociotechnopreneurship perspective.
2. The development of excellent science and technology to address health issues through research that emphasizes and applies innovation, contributing to national competitiveness and the welfare of humanity.
3. The implementation of community service based on reasoning and research works that are beneficial in improving the quality of life and enlightening the nation.
4. The provision of excellent services through optimal management of internal resources, supported by collaboration with both domestic and international institutions.

2. The production of innovative scientific works through sociotechnopreneurship-based research that can be applied to increase productivity, community well-being, and environmental quality.
3. The realization of community service based on reasoning and research works that are beneficial in enhancing knowledge, quality of life, and positive behavioral changes in public health.
